The problem you express about pregnancy centers is that that's not all of them. If there are harmful things happening at specific centers, then those should be addressed uniquely, but to assume that all non-abortive pregnancy centers are using manipulative tactics like that is wrong, and just because they aren't a medical center doesn't mean they can't be helpful. That's my whole point of this article - everyone just lumps the opposite view point of one thing in with a bunch of other viewpoints or examples, claiming they're all the same when that's not true. It's way too complicated for that.
On the Planned Parenthood side, I would assume it probably is based on which clinic you've experienced. I've heard far too many stories from people working there or who have come out about their personal story where they felt extremely coerced and manipulated into abortion - so I guess it's no different than what you've experienced at some crisis pregnancy centers.
And no, I'm not some naive person who doesn't know what I'm talking about - sorry I guess I should have added "when done correctly" to the pull out method. It's been known to have a 96% success rate of not impregnating (when done correctly), but all these contraceptives have parameters to be successful, so I thought that was common sense. And I mention that that method is obviously not the easiest because it's not really up to the woman, so I would only rely on that if accidentally having a kid wouldn't be traumatic or dangerous.
But hey, thanks for reading and thanks for your perspective!
